Kyle Lafferty has been given permission to discuss a return to Rangers after Hearts accepted an offer for the striker.

The Northern Ireland forward, 30, spent four years at Rangers between 2008 and 2012, netting top-flight title-sealing goals in 2010 and 2011.

Jose Mourinho has asked executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to sell 22-year-old France forward Anthony Martial. He doesn’t want to go though!

Real Madrid will make one final bid for Chelsea and Belgium midfielder Eden Hazard, 27, before the European transfer windows close.

Everton winger Yannick Bolasie, 29, is leaning towards a loan move to Aston Villa after holding talks with the club. The Frenchman has also been linked with Middlesbrough

Alto, Wet Spam have just spunked £100 million and have yet to earn a point. Money can't buy you love!

We will be OK once we exit this Europa League madness. The games come too thick and fast and I don't think any size of squad could handle this stupid schedule. Bonkers!

Only won once in the last 10 visits, in fact, historically Craven Cottage is not a happy hunting ground.

    Deal done
Lafferty could make his debut in Thursday's Europa League qualifier against FC Ufa at Ibrox, with clubs permitted to register two 'wildcard' signings the day before a Uefa competition fixture.

QPR concluding deal for Nahki Wells, 28, who is due to undergo a medical and Rangers are hoping to finalise the deals in time to be available for Saturday’s home match against Wigan.
Made it before Maclaren gets sacked! Hope he does well and comes back a proven striker... or the deal includes a sale in 12 months time even if they are Div 1 by then!

I suspect you are right, unless he gets a hatful when he plays, but the way QPR are playing I doubt they will get many.

Interesting to see how Clucas new side is doing too!

    Latest on him
I’m still working with physios and I’m hoping to try to get back in training in two or three weeks’ time, if everything goes well in rehab. Obviously after missing pre-season I’m trying to catch the rest of the boys up as quickly as possible and I can’t wait to be out there.
“I was hoping to be back by the end of the month but it just seems to be a bit niggly at the minute and I just want to get the last bit out of the way.
