We are supposedly interested in 29 year old James Chester from Villa as are Brighton
Joe Bryan has attracted Fulham and a bid of £7m from WBA - our interest seems to have waned.

Albion have bid for Reid .. don't know anything about the Chester story but a friend of mine scouts for Brizzle City ..says Bryan is good going forward but not so good defensively ... Personally I like defenders to defend but I can't say I've watched Bryan much

The Mirror has been listening to you.
Jay Rodriguez, Matt Phillips and Craig Dawson are all on Burnley’s radar this summer and they are willing to splash £40m to bring the trio to Turf Moor.

    Nick gets a new deal

Nick Pope’s week is about to get even better – after he agreed new terms on a deal with Burnley.

The 26-year-old keeper, who made his England debut in the second-half of the Three Lions’ victory over Costa Rica on Thursday, is already heading to the World Cup finals after a meteoric rise.

And he will do so with an improved pay deal in his back pocket and a year’s extension to his deal which now runs to 2021.

That’ll put his transfer value up a bit!

Once he joined up with players earning mega bucks, Burnley simply had to upgrade his wage packet. Good luck to the lad!

West Ham spoke to Burnley this past week about goalkeepers Nick Pope and Tom Heaton.
The club asked them what they would be willing to accept for either player.

You've not mentioned the East Midlands connection amongst all these tales from t'interweb and print media - it will be interesting to see if it comes off ....story came direct from the player himself now he could well be engaging in a bit of leg pulling so we'll see ...

If that were true and I wouldn't know either way imagine how poor West Ham's recruitment team look .. "we want a keeper either will do,how much" not the best way of going about your business surely ?

Not with us it isn't, because they will end up paying £10 million for Anders Lingegaard!
