    Still rumbling on
Rangers are looking to tie up deals to bring in strikers Nahki Wells and Tomer Hemed on loan from Burnley and Brighton respectively.
Nahki s supposed £25k a week wages may be an issue for them, though they are said to be paying several players more than any of ours and one Luke Freedman is on double another on treble Massimo Luongo
    Who??

Given their unsurprising FFP problems and £41m fine how much should we have to pay of Nahkis wages

Hearts have announced the signing of defender Jimmy Dunne on loan from Burnley.
The 20-year old has agreed an initial six-month deal at Tynecastle.

Hearts boss Craig Levein was rocked with an injury to Christophe Berra which will rule the player out for six months and has now added centre-back Dunne to his squad to increase his options for the key position.

    Kostik
Burnley tried sign Hamburg’s Serbian international winger Filip Kostić near the end of the window, but has just signed for Eintracht Frankfurt for the next two seasons with Eintracht also having secured an option to sign him permanently.

Not at all BT, you know my feelings, we should have prepared before last season ended, we didn't (if we did it was pathetic) between Garlick's stringent over tight budget and the transfer negotiation team he has approved of, no wonder we always seem to be behind the 8 ball.

Dyche for all the good he has done for BFC, again is also starting to worry me, with his substitute decisions, seemingly stifling players ability (Iceman for one) by asking too much of them in tracking back and being defensive minded (I hope he doesn't do it to Vydra), his want of PL experienced players instead of looking farther afield, and the old Chestnut "Has to be a Dyche Type player that wont upset the dressing room" Bollox.

Unfortunately, we do not have a God given right to roll teams over.

Unfortunately, we do not have a God given right to buy just about any player we fancy.

Fortunately, we have the best manager I have witnessed in my lifetime including the late Harry Potts.

Unfortunately perhaps, nine**** other EPL teams are swimming in the same shark infested waters as us. However, I am so glad we are not stupid enough to pay £60 million for Fred who looks like he has just been snapped up from the Rams Head Pub team who play in the Sunday League in Wigan, nor £66 million for an untested EPL international goalkeeper when we a bought a proven one for just £4 million.

Just to cheer you up Alto, here's snap of our hero...

He couldn't have picked a less flattering photo Sinkov.

It must be the wine or your Claret tinted glasses as you are not keeping up BT

I don't expect to steamroll teams, already stated I don't mind a 6-0 hammering as long as we compete, the odd off game is expected, but too many games last season were well below par which is unacceptable, just like 2 first half reasonably good first half games out of our first 6 games this year is unacceptable.

No we don't have a god given right to buy anyone we want, and we cannot because the negotiating team are slow and amateurish.

Sean Dyche might be good, but he has his failings with sometimes late and negative substitutions, seemingly subtracting some players ability with taxing them with a defence minded play.

    19 other teams ? again I have mentioned this, most have moved forward, we have stood still...…. . . . . . . again.

I'd agree with you that £60 Million is over the top for us and don't understand your post about it, I'd rather speak of a waste of £5 million for Wells plus his wages of £1.3 Million a year, not to mention Walters.

I admire your positive attitude towards Garlick and co and BFC in general BT, I appreciate you are closer to the powers that be walking the corridor of power and chewing the fat with some at Turf Moor, and I enjoy our debates about it on here, we just see it differently and are fighting our corner accordingly.

I still look forward to our games with great anticipation the same as I have for many years, but I also dread wondering what performance we are going to give, I still hope and pray that we are going to score as we have no creativity whatsoever and certainly no proven goal scorer, no doubt you'll counter this by mentioning when Brady/D4 return, its not enough IMO, too many other weak links and not enough depth in the squad, just so we can look at the money in the bank and pray we survive in the PL where the real money is and where we need to stay, its dicing with death and it seems to be catching up with us.

I remember saying last season about some of our poor displays, you said you didn't mind as long as we stay in the PL, again we differ, but when it comes on top like it seems to be doing the PL could be a distant memory.

One snippet you left out was the toll of Europa games having an impact, again we knew before the end of last season what we was in for and failed to address it, "failed to address it" ? seems to have a ring to it with plenty of re-occurrence's.

Just a thought BT, I remember BFC saying we would be sound for the next 10 years after our first jaunt into the PL, we did not spend much but very quickly all that spout and money disappeared, PR strategy ? Wishful Thinking ? or being out of their depth ?

And how much money do we need to stockpile for the next 10 years ?

We have money, it needs spending, its not doing anything for our PL survival just sitting there looking pretty.
