He’ll be upset to get £6m payoff and a £2m bonus for keeping them up. Maybe Rooney will stay now.
If they appoint Silva Watford will want compensation and a points deduction too. Lol

We might laugh but boy has this Fat Lad made some serious money?

The FA and Everton have chucked around £10 million his way in the last twelve months!

Interesting listening to Kevin Ratcliffe on Radio 5 this morning.
He said that he thought that Sam knew that he would not be in situ next season and, as he had not been first choice when Koeman was sacked, this was why he insisted on an 18 month contract.
He said that, in his view, Sam would have considered the quality of players which Everton had and decided that it would be no problem keeping them up, which was the objective, hence it was relatively easy money and he covered his back by insisting on the longer contract.

Everton can have no complaints because he kept his word and kept them up and it was their decision to get rid of him because the fans didn't like his style of football.

I saw them twice, we took six points off them and he deserves his lucre for keeping a very poor football team in the EPL.

    They were bobbins!
