    The Kop

Genuine question - what happened to the noise levels at the Kop the last few seasons? Always used to be one getting the ground rocking with the best atmosphere, these days its quiet as a mouse.

The only noise that comes anything like it is the South stand towards the west end. Can only summise thats because the fans that go there get as much out of watching the game as they do heckling the away support.

Could the re-introduction of safe standing breath life back into the Kop or is it a time gone by?

The Kop's now full of Marleys cronies - spend all game whinging and whining instead of getting behind the team i'm afraid.

the kop is nothing like it was before all seating was introduced , and its a different generation of fan who goes in there now, gone are the days of having to be in there for two, oclock, crammed in like sardines , burning scarves, lobbing chewing gum in to somebodies hair , or pissing down somebodies leg because you cant get to the toilet , the good old days. its full of the tichi brigade now middle class , old and very short on passion.

your obsessed with me fella , get yourself over to beeston and see the proper fans, instead of posting on here and getting off been at the chelsea game when cantona scoring his wonder goal. twenty six years ago.

there is more to life than having a brand new car and going on your jollies and telling everyone about it , try getting yourself a personality because you cannot buy that you old mug.

Depends which part of beeston you go to, some parts you'll get more cricket fans than football fans.

And not necessarily Yorkshire or England cricket fans either.

I wouldn't recommend anyone visiting beeston proper its a bit of a sh!thole.
