Thread: Wasted!

    Wasted!

I'm away for a few days in Manchester the weekend including a Cup Final BBQ with load of United fans. It really galls me that they are I quote ' really not that bothered by the FA Cup' putting it a bad 4th behind

    Winning the Champs League

    Winning The Prem

    Qualifying for the Champs League.

I would give up 10 years of Prem League for 1 FA Cup win.

On United, Chelsea and a few others the FA Cup is wasted.

The surprise here is that it took you so long to find this out, I would have thought the fact manure completely avoided the fa cup in favour of the world club cup over 10 years ago would have been an indicator.

The disgraceful thing about the cup now is how to keep it's prestige, apparently, is it's old traditions are being eroded so the big teams take it seriously.

No replays etc, are all designed to help them.

I've said it before I would take a Wigan for a fa cup win and maybe even a pompey.

That the clubs had little respect for the Cup was no surprise at all but I was mildly surprised how indifferent the fans were.

Nice one Thomas, in fairness I'd been on it since 08:30 hrs before meeting you outside the ground .

Much more was taken later too....... what a day in good company though .
