    I agree we should have retained some form of national colours, the point I was making is we only had s black and white telly

    Ahh ok Andy kid, I didn't quite get the bit you were trying to say about the black n white tellies, but I do remember them as a kid in the 70s.
    Its clear to me now though, as clear as the coloured black n white in front of my face.
