Mrs Manx always seems more 'game' in the summer months, in fact I'm beginning to think she is solar powered.

Either way I'm looking forward to a couple of weeks in the sun.

Bmx biking in the summer eh Andy, that was massive in West & East Yorkshire 1984-5, and then they died off as quickly as they appeared.

Derby is well served for bmx, the Alvaston park one is National Standard, theres another almost in the town centre that the bmx oiks have to negotiate ten lanes of traffic to reach. im no bmxer though, i can barely climb on a bike

Do you remember the flim Bmx bandits, I used to watch it a lot in those days but I can't remember owt about it now.
And my claim to fame at the time was that one of the popular Bmx riders on telly at that time was Andy Preston, and it excited me to learn I was related to him in some way. I got a large signed autograph of him and people at school still didn't believe me lol.

Got the all clear from the cardiologist today so, later this week my Guerciotto Alero will see the light of day for the first time this year. Slow start, build up and lose all the extra weight I've gained since November 2017......

Still one more lung test to do and then a final consultation with the lung specialist but the cardio is of the opinion that my recent problems stem from a wrong diagnosis. Mild bronchitis diagnosed in December 2017. The cardio is of the opinion that I actually had pneumonia and the fact that I had pain in both lungs points towards double pneumonia. The course of antibiotics I had from my GP was aimed at bronchitis. She is a) not surprised I have been tired and chronically out of breath just going up and down the stairs at home for much of the time since and b) amazed that my body seems to have fought it without outside help and am now in a position to start training again. She also added that the results of my cardiac stress test on a home trainer were comparable to those expected of a 20 or 30 something........ I like her

You’ve got a pet name for your d*ck, Andy? Wow...just wow!

You’ll be quicker on that Guerciotti thingy in your part of the World than in a car, MA. Having driven from not far from the German/Polish border over the last two days I can honestly say that the traffic going round Berlin, Antwerp and all the way across Holland is the worst I’ve ever experienced and don’t get me started on Polish lorry drivers...had me looking for a UKIP membership form!

P.S. To MoP, Ram59 and Swaley...that last bit, about UKIP, was a joke...honest...but really...don’t get me started on Polish lorry drivers!!!!!!!!!
