    Moore set to be appointed...

    According to several newspaper stories

    https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...-a8356081.html

It also looks like some bookies have stopped taking bets...

If it is him, I'm glad the board have been bold and have done it early.

    Good luck Big Dave!

Not sure I agree, there are no standout alternatives.

He's given a good account of himself and he loves the club, why not give him a chance?

How do they know? It beats me when newspapers come out with this stuff when there is no news from the place that matters. West Brom football club. Moore is a huge risk despite his short but impessive few games. If we run into problems Darren has no history to look back on and know how to handle it. Surgeons practice on dead bodies for a reason, you dont want them coming near us until they have sufficient experience. Darren should start with a club other than us, then come to us when he has the experience. Love the guy by the way just using some common sense.

I think it's probably best to wait for an announcement from the club before getting carried away.

Good luck to BD if it's him, but we needed proper managerial experience for the s hit storm ahead, not someone who just reverted to TP gameplan and had players who wanted to play to get out to another prem payday.

We have no real idea of what BD will bring, and that is too risky imo.

Jenkins promised a side full of goal power playing exciting expansive football. Under Darren Moore? Yeah right.

Interesting the way people are harping on about experience.

That worked well for us with Pardew, possibly the most experienced candidate we could have appointed...

I wonder how well Pep / Mourinho / Ancelotti etc. all got on in their first appointment without 'experience'

Why bother to employ the Italian just to give it to Moore? Brian Talbot was good as a stand in, until he got the job full time.
Never mind saved a bit of money again.
That Lai must be tighter than Peace.
