    Absolutely.
I hear the offer made to him is not far off what he would have got at SevCo, so no major financial benefit that would persuade him to go there for a couple of seasons. He has a young family from the North East, so he’ll have seen the Jack situation and deem it’s not worth the hassle.

Down south to a championship team or a team promoted from League 1 now probably would be able to make an offer worth considering

To be honest I’m getting rather bored with the whole Shinnie will he won’t he thing - it’s getting like feckin Brexit the way it’s all dragging on.

I’d like him to stay. Been a good captain & his drive & leadership in the middle will be missed, but it’s also the case that we badly lack creativity & passing ability in the middle, have far too many midfielders who are similar in style & need some different options in there.

I don’t think he’s that good that he should be getting a massive contract offer (in our terms) either.

If he goes, as long as we get the type of creative player with the vision to
pick a pass and create chances in to replace him - a big if granted - then it would be far from the end of the world.

Wonder what odds you'd get on Shinnie staying and Brexit overturned? Both unlikely so worth a few pounds? That's the only way I'd have an interest in either. Living in England is ****ing depressing at the best of times but right now it's unbearable. If it wasn't for my kids I'd get out in a shot.

F@cking Frankie Lamp-hard better not get any funny ideas about coming up here and taking a few players, well actually Fergie or Big Joe, the rest he can take. He seems to have been sniffing around here quite often now...

Wonder if today is a players day off.
Shinnie went to the hotel with the players ahead of the cup semi.

Great boost before the big game. He’ll certainly be handy to have about the dressing room now. If they have any decency - they’ll send Lowe back up the road one-way for saving them a fair wedge in the summer.

Seeing as he won’t be training for the game he will have been allowed time to go down and talk
