Have to say I loved Joy Division back in the day - a bit like a melodic Smiths really!

This morning's been a bit nineties here: Charlatans, Ride, Soup Dragons followed by Radiohead, The Decemberists and (ironically) Yungblud.

Now playing a load of Garbage....
Soup Dragons - haven’t heard them in ages

I'll come back to them again sometime, but I played The Smiths a bit too much a while back and found that they began to irritate me.

I've had a more mellow afternoon listening mostly to ladies with good lungs: Tracey Thorn, Ten Thousand Maniacs, Beth Ditto and the various incarnations of Morcheeba.

Thinking about earlier, I always get Travis and Keane mixed up. One isn't quite as bad as the other, but I forget which is which, so don't listen to either.

Not sure how it got on my playlist, but I'm quite enjoying playing Kesha's "Woman" on repeat while annoying the dog - probably because it's all sweary and features the DAP Kings?

We need some football, don't we?!

Love the Hollies, seen them on about half a dozen occasions, just tried trimming my list but I could have added Creedance, Four Tops, Temptations, Marvin Gaye, ( in fact all Motown ) Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac, Manfred Mann, Tremaloes. Better stop now showing my age. Best single ever, Bridge over troubled water.

Nice bit of kit Calvo - big bruv tells me the Westminster was a 1960s Currys big seller but collectable as rare in Orange (with 2 pin plug) £100 easy on Portobello Market today ........ gave the famed Dansettes a run for the money back in the day.

Now for some real 'authentic' noise ......... these are da babies !

Freebies (Ibanez,Fender Stratocaster,Dean Copper V) from clients of Assault & Battery Studios London......

    MOT
