We were dreadful....it hurts I know....totally out-fought, out-classed.....not one single defender or midfielder comes out of that game with any brownie points....forget the referring decisions, that is an excuse.....we were awful

It's not one, not two, not three, but FOUR massive decisions. The stamping incident not seen, the penalty for them, a goal ruled out for us and a goal not ruled out for them. Just one of those first three going for us would have completely changed the tie, and we were still in it until the 4th one.

We can blame the shocking decisions in the two games all we like.Fact of the matter is be ****ed up in January in the transfer window & too much focus on the Swansea games.Coventry had pace in the team all over, especially up front.John Coleman commented on Notts lack of pace at the BACK as well

We’ve made huge strides in the course of 18 months, but there was a gulf in class between us and the top sides as the season wore on. We weren’t getting better as a side; we’ve deteriorated since December, and too often seemed incapable of getting the basics right.

Big disappointment tonight and we were unlucky with all of the key decisions, but we weren’t good enough to go up with that side. Now it’s another rebuilding job, so probably best to lose tonight rather than at the end of the month and give ourselves a bit more time for planning. Onwards and upwards (eventually).

We were only ouclassed in the first half and I have to ask, did the players choke, or were they playing as instructed, if the latter, Nolan can do one right now for me
