Fans don't buy season tickets to back Thompson, they buy them to back the team. I do anyway.

It has been a busy summer at Tannadice but the new season is almost upon on, and over 3000 Arabs have shown superb backing and purchased or renewed a season ticket for the 2018/19 league campaign.

That's the way I've always looked at it and I'm sure most other United fans do to.

The Early Bird period has now passed, and Dundee United wish to thank the 3472 supporters who have already secured their 2018/19 season ticket for the coming campaign.

Shedka - 100% agree - I expected lower given situation. Shows there is still a hardcore but also a disgruntled hardcore of a 1000 or so who have decided to vote with their feet.

All arguments aside if we show some fight for a change crowds will come back.
