I agree totally with this. After a good career at Manure where every thing was run past and checked by Fergie he was out of his depth as a manager with England and higher profile clubs such as ours.

This might be the making of him if he finds a comfortable level to work in.

And wasn't it Fergie who hinted that Schteve was a fantastic coach, but that it takes something else to make it at the top level of management?

Like Ghost suggests, he's definitely done well in the past. Problem is it's a long time ago and a lot has changed since then.

I don't think he has the necessary rod of iron to rule the players with and that's probably his weakest point.

It was something which he hadn't to contend with at Manure as Fergie word or look was enough.

Think you're right there, ExPat. Fergie must have had some charisma to pull of the achievements he did for so many years. I mean... John O'Shea and Wes Brown won the bl00dy Premier League!?!

I was talking about this at weekend.

Me and my friends came to the conclusion that he's a decent coach but can't cut it as a manager. Hence the managers job he's got being lower championship club.
