Metz 0 Bordeaux 4 taking Bordeaux above Nice
St Etienne 5 Lille 0 taking St Etienne above Nice
OGC Nice were a Champions League club in the period Chien took over but have gradually declined in fortunes since.

(The word at Kylie's Cafe in central Sowerby Bridge is that an approach from an English Third Division club to Mr Favre has been rejected by the former OGC Nice manager.
