Ohh I see it was Mrs Wragg , what a wonderful couple they were , I would often see them still shopping in Morrison's on Woodseats , In their Range rover , to give away that money as they did was fantastic , and shows what truly lovely people they are , RIP Mrs Wragg , and my condolences to Mr Wragg .

Always thought what an incredibly generous way to share your good fortune. Something that everybody says they’d do, but few would actually go through with it.
Didn’t they take about 40 kids to see the Christmas Disney on Ice at the Arena as well?
Amazing people.

Yes they payed for deprived kid’s day out at least once a year B64 to various places.

Yes that’s my Sis Rod. She worked permanent nights for the NHS and Ray was a roofer, they lived in a council house on the Jordo before they won. The fact that they gave away most of it to charities and good causes says everything we need to know about her and her hubby mate.

Sorry for your loss G. I too heard the news on radio sheff. There's certain people from sheffield whom are 'worth there salt' and both Barbara and Ray are just that, you should be proud of them both.
They are on the same footing as another Sheffield legend John Birkhill. Tirelessly helping others.
