Forgot to mention this earlier as I finished it the day before I went offshore
Decent book this. Very well researched by the author (someone of a certain vintage who can be found on here). To be honest I didn't know much about the whole story of the Washington Whips, only about the (greatest ever) final against Wolverhampton Wanderers...........I mean the LA Wolves. I do now. Very interesting subject and a great part of the clubs history
I think I may set my self the target of going to see every team that was involved. I have already seen The Dons, The PJMs, Wolves, Ado Den Haag and Hibs. Bangu and Cerro may be logistical nightmares though
As I said a well researched book with a bit of humour added in too. A good read worth grabbing next time you are in the club shop.
note to the author- I canna wait for when your Scott Brown article goes to print.
