Strangely enough I'm not that bothered if he goes. To me he went all in for promotion this season signing ageing premier players with no thought for building a team for the future. he failed to get promotion and now realises he is left with an old team and massive squad which he has exasperated that needs to b e cut down. I suppose he looked at t h e situation and thought ` I'm off` and leave lit for someone else to sort out. NEIL HARRRIS for me

The King is dead, long live the King................. whoever and whenever that may be.

Get the new guy in this week and have him start straight away on formulating how he wants to play, which players fit that idea and which don't. Look to ship out those who don't and source new blood that does.

The current situation is, quite simply, bad for DCFC.

Not at all, wasn't impressed when we first approached him, not been impressed since.

Wonder if Mel goes for a foreign coach?
