Still think wed need a RB cover (if not someone from the reserves(?), and then whatever happens to O'Connor

Yes of course, I did mean to include O'Connor, a bit of a worry he has not put pen to paper yet, just hope it's because he's on holiday, and not in any Lincolnshire coastal resort as well!

Chances are, he is lying on a beach somewhere hot & sunny and he will sign when he gets back

So this week it has been all about current players signing new contracts with Jones, Duffy and today Pindroch. So this essentially means our back four from last season has been retained. I’ll stand corrected but is Michael O’Connor the last of the players offered new contracts to not yet sign?

I’ve moved Kellett to left midfield as well and the consensus is that he is Grants replacement.

The squad is really coming together and we are only in the first week of June so this is good.

I think we need a central defender. Someone who is experienced at League 1/2 level. Perhaps those clubs that got relegated from League 1 have players who could do a job for us.

Likewise I think we need a pacy player to play on the wing. There will be plenty of young players in the premier league who could come on loan and do a job in that role.

Finally I’d like to see Mason Bennett back to fill the fourth striker place, and that would be the squad all but complete in my opinion.

Yep, agree with all of that, shaping up nicely and early doors as well for a change

Spot on with RB cover, as we have none.

Duffy has been a right back. Hewitt can also play there. Wouldn’t surprise me if a couple of signings hinted at are a CB and LM/LW.

If it's going to be an A-lister who actually plays, then it will be RW, as our current options are inadequate. If we brought a LW in, it would be cover for Kellett. Agree about CB though, we are short in that area.
