Stats wise Collin was better than Fitzsimons this season.
Nolan and the rest of the backroom staff seemed more than happy with Collin so my guess would be it was down to wages.
I also think we will bring in another keeper with Fitz as second choice still.

I think Collin has come in for a bit too much stick from certain fans given he was part of one of the best defences in League 2, which I could pick fault with the majority of.
Jones, definitely better at going forward than he is when defending. Can be found wanting.
Brisley, I am happier when the ball is in the air near him, rather than on the floor. I suspect he is too, given how panicked he gets when hoofing anywhere.
The opposite is said of Duffy. Positionally can get himself in some good and poor positions (not at the same time) for balls that bounce or are played through. Which is why he can be 4/10 one game and 8/10 the next. Doesn’t appear to be a big headerer of the ball. Which some don’t like.
Tootle is a steady 7/10 each game. No thrills or spills. Though his assists in the 2nd half of the season were significantly less than in the first half. Yes I know he was ill.
In terms of how quickly play happened or who took free kicks, this is KN decision, not AC. Any goalkeeper should be able to take a dead ball kick. They practice more than outfield players do. Whether in training or games the outfield players are asked for their 1st touch to be ‘out of their feet’, so the ball is generally rolling. This is why set piece takers is a specialist area. Do people think David Beckham just rocked up and took free kicks or corners the way he did? No, he practised long after his team mates had gone. Taking dead ball kicks and being consistent is surprisingly difficult. No one can blame Collin for this.
Good luck to the bloke. I thought he was OK.

According to a couple of stags fans, Collin is off to them apparently. They don't like Logan because he doesn't command his area, what will they make of Collin?

They will probably appreciate the fact that Adam Collin does command his area well by coming out and claiming or punching multiple crosses/corners a game despite what some Notts fans think because he doesn't come sprinting off his line for every single one...

He's not a commanding keeper. We let in quite a few goals from the six yard line because he's rooted to his line. When he does come and collect or pinch he does it well but he does it nowhere near enough to be called commanding. Compare him with when Russell Hoult rocked up, he was a commanding keeper!
