Motherwell will face Queen of the South, Clyde, Edinburgh City and Stranraer in the group stage of the 2018/19 Betfred Cup.

The where and when will be announced when BT Sport decides.

QotS will be at home, away to two out of the three others.

We can never take anything for granted but that group should not only be progression but progression into the next round as a seed. Though we cut it fine last time round saying the same thing!

We should be progressing from that group. Nothing less is remotely acceptable.

Queen of the South will be our toughest opponent I would wager.

On paper we should progress without too much trouble but being Motherwell we should take nothing for granted. A bit disappointing to face Stranraer and Edinburgh City again but thats the downside of this format.
