I would think we need to make around 400 in the second innings to set them any sort of challenging target, and I just can't see this batting line up having the talent or the application to do it.

I learned something there and agree on the second point, this is a poor test nteam.

Surprised we're still 4th in World rankings after the winter we had, this Pak team is two places below us.

They essentially had to declare. They were nine wickets down with one player unable to continue. It doesn’t count as a wicket in the wicket sense but it does essentially ‘count’ as one. If that makes sense?

91-4, Bairstow for a duck, that's 2 wickets in three balls after they'd looked to be steadying the ship.

Absolutely shambolic performance on our own patch!

This is beyond embarrassing. Ireland in there debut were more competitive.

At last a bit of fight and a maiden 50 for Bess, well done lad, hope it's the first of many.

A typical collapse from England, last 4 wickets go for the addition of 7 runs. All over by lunch now.

Not much better at Trent Bridge, Notts being hit all over the place. Live stream here:

Hit all over the place? Lasted about 10 overs and then Notts took control. Carter bowled well, as did the other slower bowlers. On that track and on a rapid outfield, Warks are 60 short. Notts can take there time
