If that is the case he is a defensive midfielder it does seem a strange move

Robin - I've had a look at his detailed Performance Data for the last two seasons. For Burton, he played every game as a defensive midfielder. For the M. City youth team, he played mainly as a left-back.

The trouble is, I always get drawn in, because the odd one is genuine, and it's very hard to know the difference at the time!

I think we may have moved on from the Hibs lad, which could suggest Venkys are backing Mowbray more substantially than expected.

We won't want to use a chunk of our budget on one player but for stoke 4 million+ will be a mere drop in the ocean.
