O/T:- Proof that Labour doesn't work

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-22623964

All these years with a rogue Labour Council has taken there toll. Very few want to invest in this environment the net result is what the BBC point out. Nottingham the poorest place in Britain, full of chavs.

What's rogue about the council then, shortage of central government funding is clear to see all around, in Carlton. there's a 25 year old, purpous built, high security police station boarded up.

Currently I'm told, if we want a copper, we have to walk down to the fire station and tap three times on the windw, they've been set up in a stationary cupboard.

Easy to see the state of roads and pavements too where continuing bodge jobs are both unsightly and ineffective.

How can Labour be blamed for Raleigh foo king off to China or Boots selling up etc, that's just greedy big business.

The report you cite was dated 2013, this one from 2016 shows Oldham to be the poorest place in Britain.

This report on child poverty from The Guardian (January 2018) doesn't seem to mention Nottingham at all.

The strategic objective of the Labour Party is to convince the "downtrodden masses" that they work for them, but ultimately to keep them exactly where they are, reliant on the support of the state/council etc. So, from the Labour Party's point of view, Nottingham City is a storming success story, with thousands of dependent voters queuing up to support Labour every four years, "like captured partisans digging their own mass grave"*.

Oh I'm cynical, certainly, but not half as much as the people running the Labour Party operation.

Put it this way, if Labour councils in urban areas across the country are genuinely trying to improve the lot of the people who vote for them, then they're doing an almost unbelievably incompetent and abysmal job.

Well done for studying councils throughout the land. That's some scholarship you have there.
