    Swindon's new manager

Phil Brown used to be quite a good coach with southend , remember him when we played them a couple of times and his teams were quite hard to break down.

However part of the reason why the Srimpers got rid of him was because previous Robins player Nile Ranger was signed by him, and of course we all know what sort of player Ranger was, a criminal, fraudster and general no gooda. Lets hope Brown has learnt his lesson.

Yes, I remember him at Southend too. He almost got them promoted and yes they were a good side.

Brown also took our Simon Cox from WBA to them too and we'd love Cox back here

Ranger? Giving it all away . .

That kid Nile Ranger was also a bit of a wild card with us I think Claw.
To be honest though I think Swindon will do much better now under the experienced Brownster, rather than the unproven pratt Flicker.

Seems he is an outside bet for the Derby job.... Don't worry we won't be having him back at Derby

Seems as if Frank Lampard is 1/10 to become the next Derby Manager...... Pretty low odds those

Could be a good move Rammy, but I am still puzzled why Rowlett left, unless Stoke offered him more money.

Frank Lamper eh in management, who would have thought it, especially coming as far north as Derby.
I haven't forgiven him for scoring the winner against us in our first ever Premship game, in Aug '97.

I think money had a big influence in his decision, but I also think he knew he was not popular at Derby for his boring style of hoof ball and thought it a good idea to get out while the going was good.
