How the hell did Grealish only get a yellow for that tackle? I know Fulham shudda/cudda had one sent off for the "Stamp" but that Grealsih tackle was a stonewall red card almost as bad as Phillips's at Leeds on George.UTCB

This mornings rag saying big fire sale coming up for Villa. They still have some massive earners. Some on £2m/year salaries.

A big clear out might mean they end up on a level playing field with the likes of us. See how Bruce performs once the money has run out. Knowing him, he'll probably do a runner. He doesn't like managing clubs with no money

I mean, the oinkers lost £31m in the last 2 years, no changes in playing staff this season, but seem to have managed to convince the FFP boys that they'll break even this year (as they must according to the rules, to avoid sanctions...), with sponsorship from an energy drink (that doesn't exist...), and a taxi firm (that doesn't exist...). What next? Chansiri Unicorn Farm and Stud?

It certainly appears that way but clubs have a 3 yr rolling window in which they have to balance everything so it's possible to gamble for 2 yrs (like Newcastle did and it worked for them) but if you miss the gravy train as villa just have down then cutbacks have to be made to balance the books

JohnTerry's been a brillinat stopper but if Villa had've gone up surely they'd've dumped him cos he aint Premier League standard anymore.Grealish has bags of ability but he's a divin git and would gi Forresspigieri a run in the biggest diver stakes.UTCB
