See it’s catching with 322-7 and Root 113 and Willey 50 doing well in the final 4 overs.

I doubt that’s going to be enough, but one can only hope!

Cracking win in the end with England taking some good catches and bowling well for a change. Strange innings from Dhoni who just seemed content to bat out the innings until he got a message from the pavilion and then was out slogging the next ball!

I think India had watched England play Belgium in their tea interval and decided to follow the "let's not bother approach".

The decider between England and India and we are going well with India 158-5 in the 32nd over after Rashid takes 2 wickets in an over. The problem is that the ball seems to be turning that much that I dread to think what Kuldeep will do with it.
Dhoni just survived an LBW after a review and they are no 162-5 at the end of 32 overs.

    Forgot this was on!
    A great win.
A disaster for India setting a target of 257 with 33 balls and eight wickets to spare - Joe Root hit the winning runs to get a second successive century and Eoin Morgan ending on 88 not out.

    India were restricted to 256-8

It was a brilliant win but India bowled really badly and England capitalised on this.
Root is looking good again ---there is no substitute for class!

This time Lancashire crash and burn to Yorkshire with Joe Root getting 4 for 5 to finish us off 118 behind.

JUst watched a good ladies game at the Oval with Lancashire Thunder (Ladies) beating Surrey with a 6 off the second last ball in a 20 over game after looking quite comfortable at one stage and then losing their way.
Some terrible fielding by both sides with both dropping a couple of 'dollies' but it was still good entertainment and the correct result.

Nice to hear Lancs can win something.
Can we say dropping Dollies these days before the gender police take offence.
You don’t hear of girls called Dolly these days or Dolly might drop a Dolly.
    What happened to Dolly Blue?
