    Parachute money and Villa’s plight.

Next season sees Villa’s final parachute money payment reduce to just 20% of what their last year’s Premier League payment was.

We get 55% of what our final payment was and that then reduces to 45% next season if we don’t get back up.

I get the feeling Villa will be weaker next season as they’ll need to reduce their wage bill.

    What a shame.

Let’s just hope that isn’t us in 3 years time because I wouldn’t bet against it!

Not going to enjoy their plight as it feels a bit close to home.

If our owner backed us with his wonga not ridicules money i believe we could be ok , we just need that bit of quality & keep the better players we have at the club , saying that if he did that last season & brought the quality we needed we wouldn't be where we are now .

It doesn't matter where the money came from, it was still made available, and it was pretty much wasted.

Last season was historically hilarious too as

West Brom stole as many taxis as they won Premier League games

But the great news BRE259 is : W B A have secured a lucrative sponsorship deal with Tampax.

Its suitable as the club are entering an uncomfortably bad period.
