    Anyone want a bet 2

    That:

    1) both Fulham and Wolves have a higher net spend over the summer than NUFC

    2) they both pay more for a single player in the summer than we do

    3) we hear something along the lines that we can’t compete with them from the w&nkers that run the club after the transfer window closes in September.

Wouldn't bet against that like. The silence from nufc is deafening, doesnt bode well.

I full expect this to happen.

Wolves certainly for all 3 points.

Fulham will on point 2 but maybe, just maybe not on point (i think it's very unlikely though).

Fulham's owner is in the process of trying to buy wembley to lease out but primarily to also have his NFL team as part of it. You'd think he would add Fulham into that mix if that was the case.
However, I wonder how interested he'll be in Fulham if he manages to get his way with wembley, etc?

As for Wolves. They'll likely go for it. A big hit to try and cement their place in the top flight. They may hit the ground running and shock everyone. They may also crash and burn if they take away the battling nucleus.

    Only time will tell.

They seem to have some quality players, Wolves. It'll be very interesting to follow them this coming season.

They've got that portuguese super agent as part of the set up don't they?

I think so, Jammy. Don't know how else they could sign profiles from Porto and elsewhere who were otherwise bound for Top 6 clubs in Italy, Spain, etc.

i think we will sell Mitro to Fulham for more than we will spend on any single player.

    it isnt always about spend

it is what you spend it on
when rafa got rid of carr he lost years and years of networking

clubs like wolves use well connected people to get the players they do

we had that on a simlar scale

and without thought we got rid of it

fulham will spend big as they havent spent a huge amount in the fizzy
and they have assetts to sell to generate sales

    we dont
as we are left with what rafa brought for the fizzy and the likes of merhino and joselwho who he brought in the prem

we also still have far to much dead wood and also due to having so many managers in short succesion with players on long contracts a very unbalanced squad

    due to all the silence
i have a feeling there is something going on behind the scenes

this time out of the press

i think certain parties have learnt if you want to deal with ash
you dont do it through the media

you honestly think years of networking was lost by losing Carr?? He worked for the club, all networking and informtion gathered were paid for by the club, ergo it is the club's information not Mr. Carr's. Im sure Carr had names of talent scribbled down on a piece of paper and hidden away in his bag so nobody could see. FFS man what year do you think it is? All statistics on all the players scouted during Carr's employment will be saved digitally by the clubs analytical team.

You dont think that a well travelled successful manager like Benitez doesnt have contacts and dossiers on thousands of players. Im sure it has been reported on numerous occasions that Rafa has a comprehensive network and is meticulous to detail. So if thats true, im sure he wont lose any sleep about Carr leaving.

But obviously you unfoundedly state that Rafa got rid of Carr and in doing so has set us back somehow by losing years of networking . Again that you dont have a shred of evidence to back up.

Another thinly veiled dig at the Manager
