Expect a surge in heroic rescues with the offer of a visa and a job in the fire brigade....

Can't see this mentioned in the rules sticky. Maybe you should have specified the board's unspoken agenda to turn Notts mad into Breitbart jnr.

Posters are allowed to say hateful things like this without any evidence, but it's not 'helpful' to present a story in a way which doesn't conform to your chosen narrative, Swale?

Only Tricky out of the usual anti muslim brigade on this thread, fair play to him. The others are conspicuous by their absence but then again a muslim can't do anything good or is that just bullsh!t? He should really have strapped a bomb to himself and taken the kid out with him, after all they ALL hate us don't they? There's a difference between a muslim apologist and a muslim realist. Yeah some of them are bat **** crazy and hate us, a lot of them actually like us if you bothered getting to know them.

A balanced view, and yet the focus on this site is only on the bad when it comes to certain groups.

The statement from this site's moderator that the good 'might be more helpful' if it wasn't highlighted, is a clear message that here bad is better!

Are you saying you think it’s wrong to take wholly non-political events (whether tragedies or humane acts of bravery as this was) and politicise them?

Agreed. This was an act of bravery and heroism that deserves praise without any reference to race or religion.

The problem is that people who say things like "I despise ALL Muslims" are likely to attract opinions that balance the other side of the coin.
