    John Terry

According to the Birmingham Mail, John Terry has played his last game for Villa after his contract came to an end. Apparently he is weighing up offers from China, the MLS or a player coach role.

With his mate potentially taking over at the Rams could it be that 2+2 does make 4?

Do we really want JT at DCFC?

As a person yuk no, as a coach who knows, as a Dave Mackay type controlling a wild young side, mmmmm I’ll have a think, I’d forgive all but his worst if he succeeded in that role

In terms of playing I'd sooner see Curtis Davies playing 40+ game again at the same level as this season as JT playing half that number.

Whatever happens we need a younger centre half as an option next season.

John Terry by far the best centre half in the Championship! A born leader too!

Great, then get him. And all the baggage that will inevitably follow.

Terry + McCarthy and add Mel's promise to cut purse strings = Gonna be a real fun season.

Lamps was a footballer rather than a thug of a centre half. Lamps is intelligent. Lamps is articulate. JT ill always be 2nd fiddle to Lamps IMO.

He is the best centre half in the division but for how many games, could you see him playing twice in a week?

I'm not sure FL would want JT in as his sidekick could prove too much of a hindrance than a help.

If the appointment includes a sidekick/mentor role we must get the balance right - Glenn Hoddle would do nicely.
