I doubt it given our finances. It probably won't even be that next season.
on sky sports against S****horpe away they said rotherham wage bill was 8 million this season
does anyone know if that is true?..

No idea if it’s true or not but if it is it works out at £6999 a week per player
8 million divided by 26 players divided by 44 weeks

but it may include club shop workers groundsman etc etc
Have heard that the 50/50 sellers are on a grand a week
Thats wrong Patty, they had a pay rise.
Was told at beginning of season warns first job was halving the wage bill n get it under 4 million.. someone at the club mentioned this in a ifollow interview a few months ago. i cant remember who it was though.... i would imagine 3k per week would be about what were paying in league 1... not sure if 4 million wage bill would inc players and staff or just players
I love the way you do simple mathematics.
Football salaries don't work that way.
The season Sheffield United won promotion from League 1 they had a decent wage bill, nowhere near £8M.
A few years ago League 1 players in the age group 25 to 28yrs were top salary, nowhere near £6,999.
