    8 million wage

    on sky sports against S****horpe away they said rotherham wage bill was 8 million this season

    does anyone know if that is true?..

    I doubt it given our finances. It probably won't even be that next season.

    No idea if it’s true or not but if it is it works out at £6999 a week per player

    8 million divided by 26 players divided by 44 weeks

    Was told at beginning of season warns first job was halving the wage bill n get it under 4 million.. someone at the club mentioned this in a ifollow interview a few months ago. i cant remember who it was though.... i would imagine 3k per week would be about what were paying in league 1... not sure if 4 million wage bill would inc players and staff or just players

    I love the way you do simple mathematics.

    Football salaries don't work that way.
    The season Sheffield United won promotion from League 1 they had a decent wage bill, nowhere near £8M.

    A few years ago League 1 players in the age group 25 to 28yrs were top salary, nowhere near £6,999.
