    O/T Barbeques

I'm not a fan but the flippin neighbours are. As soon as there is a bit of sun then out comes the barby with the fat bloke with his apron on tossing his sausages. The blokes get sloshed and the women talk endless twaddle and their kids screaming like ya wouldn't believe. Whatever happened to that quiet lazy Sunday afternoon?

I can’t stand the “barbie” culture.

S h I t food badly cooked outdoors that’s cold within a minute of getting it.

Luckily I now live surrounded by fields with just one neighbour and they have no kids and never will have and they are two miserable boring c nuts like me and the wife.

I wouldn’t go to a barbie if you paid me.

It’s not Australia FFS....we live in feckin England!

Mick, if you don't do BB out here youm a leper! The truth is we have the climate [the meat is only going to get hotter when you leave it sitting, ha!], we have high quality cheap meat and killer Texas Margaritas [ contains 1 ounce Grand Marnier] to wash it down with and some of the more sophisticated Barbeques look like bloody steam locomotives.

I have a wife and a new oven in my kitchen Woodlands.....why the fk would I want to stand in my back garden doing the cooking over some cancer giving coal FFS?

What’s the point in a wife and an oven?

I don't do the cooking mate and we use Mesquite logs for the fire, my son usually brings some ribs up every other weekend. You wouldn't want to cook in the house in the Texas summer even with the A/C cranked up believe me.

Can't stand em. Use the oven in the kitchen and carry the stuff outside when its cooked. As for me, I don't like eating outside at all. Sharing what I'm eating with a menagerie of insects is not my idea of enjoyment. Plus the stink of other people Bar b Q's gets on my t*ts too.
