Shall we start a book on who will be the first to leave our sinking ship?

My money is on Chadli. Bet he has been lining up moves ever since the start of last season. Can’t see him being wanted in the top European leagues but will probably end up in a cushy role playing in Belgium! No doubt we will end up taking a loss to get rid as well.

Doesn't Chadli have a release clause in his contract? for pretty much what we paid for him unless someone meets that i would make him stay.

I did think you were talking about your own club. But no, of course not.

John Terry was excellent for us on and off the pitch this season. He joined the villa, despite more lucrative offers from abroad because he viewed the villa as a big club, and wanted to be part of the project to get us back up. It didn't quite work and he leaves with all our gratitude as a thorough professional and brilliant captain. Meanwhile, Gareth Barry, who has been a millstone around your necks will leave because he is past it. And anyway, he reached his personal goal of as many premier league appearances as possible and the theft of a taxi under his belt.

WBA - obsessed with the villa since 1878

*I had to double check that. And Google tried to correct WBA to the band ABBA as it brought back more results

Barry activated the second season clause in his contract, he knows he won’t be playing much next season so why not sit back and take the money.
If Terry really wanted to, he could easily have done a deal with potatoe head and lead you into league 1, but he’s chosen the armchair so it appears. s.o.t.v.

I did think you would be on your own board. But no of course not. You call us obsessed?
Terry has done one because he was on 60 grand a week and you can't afford to pay him. So he will now join a big club that can afford him. Simple ay it?
