Im a ST holder for 20 odd years, no DNA, go to most saturday away games, can’t manage midweek ones, go to all home cup games, manage 1 euro away trip a season and if i don’t get a ticket then **** them al be puttin my ST back.

as long as youve been buying your tickets where possible from the club rather than PATG then you'll have a fair whack of points so would hazard a guess you'll be fine.

The Liverpool game & Ibrox ‘91 always get brought up but that’s 2 games in nearly 4 decades. I missed one away game in ‘91 & it was the last one. I never grudged the folk inside or thought I deserved to be there more.

They old system worked for everyone 99% of the time.

Tyecastle. Easter Road. Ibrox. Parkhead. 4 or 8 games a season where the "old system" (which was?) Disnae work any more. Demand too high for supply.

If the club do end up with only 2400 I don't envy them one bit.

Maybe they could do something whereby season ticket holders of X years are also in the first group aswell as say fans with 200 points.

I think the theoretical maximum anyone could start the 2018/19 season with is 206 points:

• 56 points for 2017/18 (i.e. every away league game and every cup game)
• 50 points for 2017/18 B&G season ticket
• 40 points for 2018/19 season ticket
• 40 points for 2018/19 premium DNA
• 20 points for 2018/19 season ticket and DNA bonus

Parkhead rarely sells out, Ibrox has been like Fort Knox since the move into the corner & the other two may sell out from time to time but they’re reasonable allocations which allow folk a chance at it

Every season ticket holder deserves a ticket. Every person calling themselves an Aberdeen fan whether they’ve been to one game or a thousand, should be welcome in any Aberdeen end.

What they all deserve is a shot at getting a ticket.

****s were nowhere to be seen when the Tynecastle and Dens Park away ends were 3/4 empty only a matter of years ago.

Bear in mind you will lose all of 2016/17 points (ST + any games in 2016/17).

Note that 2016/17 games were generally 2 points for an away league game (in 2017/18 it was 1 point).

So you will lose a big chunk of that total before the start of the new season.
