    I can see the difference this "leader of men" (amd corruptor of women) made to our team. And it's another reason why SB needs to stay in charge. It was him who persuaded JT to come and fight for the cause this season and it almost worked. Good luck to him

    Hear hear and I wish him well in his future footballing endeavours - as long as it's not with the noses

    Moving on to Dr T's statement - our team will look very different come August and with no divine right to promotion they will need our fans on their side no matter what. Twitter's gone mad with all the FFP "experts" and we're getting pelters from anyone with a dislike for AVFC; there are many!

    It could be a much longer stint in the Championship now and will be a real test of our resilience as fans, we need to show some class, back the team always & make VP a difficult place to play.

    It doesn't always take big money to win promotion either, several smaller clubs have done it in recent seasons.
