Last two years promoted managers:

Nuno, Jokanovic, Wagner, Benitez, Warnock and Hughton plus Stam and Bruce as final losers.

So really it isn't an exception. The sort of donkeys we could get who 'know' this league have done bugger all for years or are people like Bruce who spend absolute fortunes and fail.

It's not going to happen,but to compare Milanic and Christiansen to Bielsa is simply wrong.

Not sure what people want on here.....McLaren, stam, mcarthey, Bruce, Grayson?......none of these really sound exciting....pretty mind numbing boring actually....don't know much about the supposed bielsa but, let's get on with it if that's who it is and start getting players in and the seasons preparations can start.

yeah, lets get someone with local knowledge, Heckinbottom perhaps?

for me, Ranieri is a no brainer, quality coach who we could probably get, failing that Bielsa would be a good choice.

My fear with both Bielsa and Ranieri is that they would struggle to adapt, and learn quickly enough to accommodate the outstanding contributions of Jay Roy Grot, Hadi Sacko and Eunan O Kane into the previously successful management strategies each would bring to the table.

Thankfully we've got Mr Orta to ensure the manager would get sacked in those circumstances.

But of those only Wagner (I think) took them up with no previous experience (at least of English football) so I still say they are the exception.
