6/1 favourites to win the league, to now 66/1 rank outsiders in under a month, staggering.

Did anyone lump on relegation at 40-1?

I never bet, why should I make bookies rich out of mugs.

Who knows, but you can still get 20/1 for Notts to be relegated, though this will shorten if Notts get another kicking next Saturday at Exeter.

I didn't exactly 'lump on', but when I saw 40/1 I couldn't resist a fiver as it screamed value. Even though the bet was only placed after the Yeovil defeat, I can already cash out with a profit. Nothing I've seen since has remotely tempted me to do so.

Fair play, can't imagine you'll be cashing out in the near future.

I bet if anyone waits a few more games, or even half the season, then the odds on promotion will be even bigger!

Very different odds today compared to the start of the season:

    Champions - 150/1 (BetVictor)
    Promoted - 20/1 (BetVictor)
    Top 7 finish - 10/1 (BetVictor)
Top half finish - 6/4 (Skybet)
Bottom half finish - 8/15 (Skybet)
Relegation - 7/1 with most, but 888sport are offering a staggering 20/1. I don't have an account with them and think it's very likely to be a market they haven't updated, but if you can get on at those odds then do it quickly. I had a fiver on at 40/1 after the Yeovil defeat and the cashout option is already offering £18.06.

As for our next game, for reasons unknown to me we are actually shorter priced than Stevenage to win on Saturday. Stevenage are just the sort of side to take advantage of our soft underbelly - not very skillful, but big, physical, organised and hard working. They can be backed at around the 2/1 mark which looks very generous to me.

Fast forward to now and the odds make interesting reading, despite a clear uptick in results since the above post from Elite (DDWW) not much has changed.

    Champions - 150/1 (Skybet)
    Top 3 - 25/1 (Bet365/unibet)
    Promoted - 14/1 (Skybet)
    Top 7 finish - 7/1 (Bet365)
Top half finish - 7/4 (Skybet)
Bottom half finish - 4/9 (Skybet)
    Relegation - 20/1 (888)

Hopefully this form isn't just a flash in the pan and Notts now romp up the table leaving us all saying "oh no, why didn't I lump on at 150/1!"
