    52? Ah no.
I think Jimmy Carter was Governor of Georgia.
Labour had yet to come to power in Australia
And Edward Heath was close to becoming PM

Yes I know. I'm still too young to become senile like.....and not know what a joke is.
    The age cannot be 52.

    1. There was the World Cup that year.

    2. Alf Ramsey was England manager.

    3. Labour was still in Govt.

    4. Paul VI was Pope.

    5. Muhammad Ali wasn't World Champion

Because Ali definitely would have been a World Champion then. All these conditions were met save this, if I'm 52

Well I'm not here to convince you. I'm positive if there's a way to trawl through the records, you'd find many eons ago that I started following footy around aged 8. But more seriously around 10 and that was the time Forest were European Champions.
And I supported them because they were 1 of the first 2 teams I saw on telly. The other being West Ham.
The connection with Robin Hood's city was the deciding factor. It was only later on I realised they were European Champions.

    Indeed.
Pity my dad ain't around. I could question him why he never brought me to a Notts game or switched on a game involving them.
I would then be a supporter of the world's oldest and biggest club not forgetting being very interested in old fogeys and their bingo playing ways.

Heck I might even have gone into the catheters and incontinent bag supplying business!

    Trolol
