Football club ownership is a pet hate of mine Eve.

Regardless of inter club rivalries ALL clubs fan’s deserve proper ownership even though some clubs will have to fail as always.

Your club is a good example.....the Bhattis almost wiping the club out in the 80’s but pulled together again by the “Golden T I t”,a man who absolutely loved the club and then badly run by his successor and now in the hands of Fosun who appear willing to put wise money into the project.

In the main we’ve had tight fisted,self serving owners throughout my lifetime and even though Peace ran a tight “business model” there was no joy in his stewardship,it was all about watching the pennies and despite his protestations of love it never felt like he was a true fan.

This bloke Lai is one step up from the chancers that ran Portsmouth......he’s typical of those who buy as a trinket and to “build their brand” and then lose interest when it all goes wrong.

Man City have all the money but you have to admire the way the Sheiks have built up everything around the club and the way they seem to enjoy their project.
