    Now Villa in turmoil

    Failed to pay £5m tax bill and facing a winding up order
    Need to recoup £40m to meet FFP requirements.
    Chairman can’t get money out of China and Chief Exec Fired. Bruce on holiday may not have a job on his return.

    £2m will be paid in two days they say.

    And yet, on this very website only a few days ago, some of our fans were saying we should be looking at bringing in foreign investors. No thank you very much, we're fine as we are.

    Apparently China has cracked down on people taking money out of the country so Villas owner is having problems paying bills..I agree with Slinky,phook these foreign owners and investors and keep Burnley English..

    I don't think having a big investor is necessarily a bad thing. Just look at the English trophy winners over the last few years.

    But if we get an interested party wanting to buy into our club I am certain that they would be scrutinised within an inch of their lives.

    Bad owners are bad owners - foreign or British. Peter Ridsdale, Mike Ashley, Eddie Davies, Ken Bates etc anyone?
