    Adam Armstrong (again)

    Look, man....what's gannin' on?

He's being lauded as the player of the team so far in the Toulon tournament but during any of his very brief appearances for us he's always looked massively out of his depth and he's had mixed reviews at the Chimpo and League 1 clubs he's been at. I haven't looked into the success rate of England U21 players making it in the Prem-anyone know?

Do we give him one more shot...or get shot?

I suppose without seeing him in training day in, day out none of us can answer that. Steven Taylor & even Shola looked decent at that level but both never really became legendary for us nor went on to bigger and better things. It's a tough call at that age - Adam Campbell was spoken of as well a few years back and where is he now - Fleetwood or similar?

Aye-we've had a few make waves at reserve level but fail to make the grade in the first team.

The England v Scotland U21 match is on Sky 422 - FreeSports from 5:00pm on Thursday so we can all have a look at him and potentially Woodman if he plays.

I think our coaching, up to now, has had a lot to do with kids not making the grade after showing bags of potential

I'd agree to a point that the coaching at that level has been generally useless - the one obvious failure being the former club playing legend currently on 'gardening leave' but I struggle to think of many released youngsters that have gone away at youth/emerging level and to make it big style elsewhere (the Shearer 'goalkeeper' incident aside)!

    rafa wont gamble on him
    he is afraid to loose

he would preer to play joselwho over someone with potential or mistertrick a proven goal scorer

i cant understand why rafa sent him out on loan and left himself with one fit striker gayle, someone he doesnt ate mistertrick and joselwho who none of us rate

when given a run of games mistertrick and army both prove a striker will score

he aint a 10 goal a game man
but he is certainly better than joselwho even know with the little experiance he does have
and i reckon givena run of games as good as gayle

he needs to find his feet

Well if he cant score 10 goals per game we best get shot and find someone who can.
