    bit of a difference
Don't forget those two had massive parachute payments though.
No sympathy for them because it's been gross financial mismanagement.

It still didn’t buy them promotion in Villa’s case or keep Sunderland up.

1 -2 million or 100s of millions doesn't alter the fact you can't spend what you can't afford to

Maybe paying your young full back over 1M but your Director of Football 300K is a pointer to the fact that business management isn't seen as a priority?

if Tony Stewart can't afford 1-2 million than he needs to sell up.

Ive nowt against the Villingham's, but I did want Fulham to win that Final to begin with because they were the better team.
And now all this has come out in the wash, maybe its why John Terry walked out on them last week. Surely we can't feel sorry for them though can we. Any team that puts itself in this position due to appalling bad management (in this case, its stupid overspending), they surely deserve all they get.

They may deserve all they get but at the end of the day its the thousands of fans who end up the losers. Footballs different to any other buisiness, its not like when a shop chain goes bust and you just go and shop at one of there competitors is it. If your club goes under you've nowhere else to go.

Ohh I know and agree with all that, and as usual its the fans who get it in the neck. But as a club its their own fault for overspending like this and now its got them in real trouble. They made a ridiculous and naive gamble and its spectacularly failed!.
