Probably not as first team regulars, but yes I tend to agree, with some proper coaching they could be usable squad players

im not suggesting they would be world beaters, but as useful squad players, theres still time to improve, their peak years are ahead of them, 26 27 28 29, both are 24, get the right coach in and theres a possibility they could improve

Ekuban is turning into a journeyman, only 24 but already played for what 5-6 clubs under various coaches and his stats are poor.

I give him credit for effort but his finishing is horrendous.

Sacko, fast but ineffective and seems to play less each season.

If Bielsa comes in (still doubt that will ever happen) they could benefit but then again Ekuban could end up playing in midfield and Sacko up front!!

Can't keep waiting for them to blossom, we need better players now not in a few years time.

Hope i'm wrong but at the moment I just don't see it happening for either of them.

One think though I seem to remember a tweet from Sacko at the end of the season that reading between the lines seems to indicate he's off elsewhere?

im not saying they will both improve, im just saying theres a chance, IF the right coach comes in, look what beattie did for wood, different player, sacko and ekubans final decision making is really poor, but that can be coached, you cant teach pace, and our squad has been criticized for being too slow before now

if all else fails, loan them both to a top lg1 club, make sure both get a good 30-40 games played together in the first team, then decide after that what happens

You do live in cloud cuckoo land Clive - how are you going to "Make sure" that they both play 30 to 40 games together at a "Top" league 1 team FFS?

It just wouldn't happen - Antonsson - who I think is better than either - couldn't get a guaranteed start for Blackburn last season.
