I read that they could have warm weather training camps, eg Dubai, but no matches are allowed......

This idea is as old as the hills. Is the problem the ammount of foreign managers in the Prem that is forcing the changes?

You can imaging a couple of matches posponed in January due to the freezing conditions. This along with the break in Feb will cause another fixture pile up which in turn will lead to a reduction in teams playing in the Premiership.

After this they will start a 2 up 2 down relegation/promotion in view to that being reduced to 1.

Ultimately more european games will be played.

The Championship will start to mean more to real supporters of football with the fans of the lower teams in the Prem wishing that they could playy in that than see overated foreign players taking the money for failing.

The Prem is well on its way to shooting itself in the foot.

The 6 top teams want to break away because they're greedy *******s and so the Premier League is having to make compromises.

If the TV deal money goes down in future they will break away.
