    Lawlessness under this goverment

Our country is out of control. Yet we keep cutting our Police force, lowest number of officers for 22 years. People getting killed every day.

You can’t blame a government for scum carrying knives and guns.

    The world is increasingly lawless.

Too easy to blame the Tories for everything!

    B o l l o c k s .....I’ve run out of toilet paper.

    All Theresa’s fault!!

It would be worse under the nutter Corbyn! We need firstly though to all pull together - a majority vote is democracy so we need to go out and do what Trump would say to the EU - here's my middle finger now - swivel for your money!

The deterrents are too low. You can get as little as 10 years for murder, serve much less. If someone you knew got banged up for life then I reckon you'd think twice about copying what he did.
That said there has always been plenty of violence on the streets. I always avoided skinheads when I could. Teddy boys were a threat from what I've read. Victorian times, the 30s, it's what was done to perpetrators who were caught that stopped things being worse back then.
Could be we are just an unpleasant species.

As a deterrent I would advocate some of the punishments used by the Romans.

Murderers could be stripped naked, flayed until they bled, then sewn up in a sack together with a dog, a male hen and a viper before being thrown into the Tiber.

I think there would be more calls on here to save the dog,c0ck and viper than some of the scum that are walking our streets.

And talking of murder just off to murder a pint or two of Dark Star A.P.A.

HI Mick if Labour were in charge i would say the same thing. Got a mate who works on security at B'ham court, who's says the courts can't cope.

You never mention the fact that Gordon Brown sold off our gold when the market was at rock bottom Lloyd.

It’s not always the Tory party’s fault we are short of cash.

    Don't really know why people are surprised. Soulman is right;

    Per capita staffing changes 2010-2016
    Total NHS Staff -4.1%
    Total Frontline Police -17%
    Total Frontline Prison officers -27.9%
    Total Firefighters -21.5%
    Total Armed Forces -24.2%

Its all hypothetical, but could more have been saved from Grenfell had the firefighters had the right kit? Would less people have been stabbed in London this year if we had more frontline police officers? How many people are suffering because of the crippling cuts to the NHS?

This government are as bad as it gets. And I'm not advocating a vote for Labour, because I won't vote for them because of their Brexit position. But people in this country are manipulated and lied to by the press. Most people dismiss Corbyn, because they've read some absolute lying garbage in the Daily Mail.

Its the main reason why Brexit happened, because RW media who have alternative agendas are writing misleading and lying stories and using nationalist propaganda to support it. People who voted remain are being labelled as traitors...seriously WTF?? Am I traitor because I want our country to be better off?

Murdoch, Dacre, Rothermere, Farage, May, Johnson, Gove etc..Will have a lot to answer for to the next generation.
