    As regards 'living locally', I doubt that this is a condition that could be contractually enforced. But it is something that can be encouraged.

    However, when it comes to remuneration, we ARE in a position to dictate what the basic and bonus structure will be. I want players out there that are collectively and individually driving themelves to do their level best for Dundee United. If that sort of mentality can be encouaged by the implementation of a club-wide success-oriented remuneration structure, then I'm all for that.

    Depends who else would be available for the job. Think if we were to get rid of him would have been best to do so before the play offs. It was a surprising decision to keep him but hopefully his new signings will work out and the new rules for players living close to Dundee and wage structure will boost performance and attitude.
