Maybe some kind of bandwagon jumping to oust him and it's backfired on a lot.

I agree seem to be rooting out the trouble makers not saying Beardsley is guilty though. To be honest the youth teams and reserves have been going backwards under the current backroom staff and a good clean out is probably what was needed

The first team does need drastic work but getting rid of players a lot brought in by Carr and Ashley putting them on mega money and long contracts has backfired badly

Saviet for instance under contract till 2021 and probably on 35k who is going to buy him

Out of the 18 players released mostly all brought in by Carr who in your mind had Premiership potential

and won loads of cups as a manager

never watched that so dont have an opinion

but i will admit
cant wait to see what rafa brings in

he has been in charge of them for 2 seasons
and i wiould be guted if i was released by a manger not commited to the club

be great for them if he doesnt get what he wants and then walks away

Well you can't really argue with the released first team players and first team is a stretch, wages based maybe but in appearances or in match day squads they aren't really.

Youth players released, well we know that area needs a massive overhaul in this area so hardly surprising that so many have been released.

Not really fussed about them being released. It's a shame for them but i reckon they'll be picked up lower down the league, every academy releases lots of youth and reserve players.
