    Stuart Armstrong

Rumours on BBC website that interest building again with Palace possibly about to bid - he's entering the final year of his contract. No doubt he'll suddenly be worth about £10m, which is a smidgen more than what our 'Chairman' described as an un-refuseable deal on February 1st 2015. Anyway back on topic - what was our cut on this? 10%? 15%? Either way, by god we could do with this cash right now.

What happens if he signs a new deal with Celtic? Does any sell on percentage lapse or simply carry forward to any future sale?

As far as I am aware, sell on fees last for the duration of a player's time with the Club regardless of what contract extensions they sign. I'm pretty sure A Rob extended while he was still at Hull for instance.

Hopefully we are always due a percentage of any future sale.

He didn’t have a great year last year so hopefully Celtic will sell him.

Anything around a million cut would be a bonanza for us right now

Pretty sure he's already extended once at the Tattiedrome, but as others say the sell on would remain in place

Can't see that happening , Celtic were wanting him to extend for another 3 years but only extended for 18 months. Anyway he's always wanted to play down south but kinda got press ganged into signing for Celtic in the 1st place because no one down south offered near as much to Thompson as they did.

A yeah the Noel Hunt add on.
Maybe we could still get it if we filed a PPI style claim 😅

It's being reported that SA wants to play down south but IIRC he was studying for a law degree. Maybe finished by now?
Certainly 10% of £10 million would be decent, IF it's in place.
