On top of that the club sold all our best players under the previous owner and replaced them with significantly inferior ones which constituted the fans hardly seeing a victory in 18 months .

I think Jules is fully entitled to have a dig personally and the club should be grateful that the fans still continue to renew their ST's to the tune of almost 9k given what's occurred down there of late .
Absolutely spot on mate! Communication from the owners of the club is dire.

U23s Coach will depart the Reds this summer and join Manchester City.

After two years at Barnsley Football Club, Paul Harsley will be leaving to join Premier League side Manchester City as part of their coaching staff, with the best wishes of everyone at Oakwell.

Harsley joined the Reds in 2016 and oversaw the development of players with the goal to get into the first team. Success has arrived with the likes of Jack Walton, Jacob Brown, Jared Bird and Dylan Mottley-Henry, who all made senior appearances. Further first team squad involvement for multiple others has followed throughout Harsley’s two-year spell.

As well as his primary role of developing future players, Harsley was asked to take caretaker charge for the South Yorkshire derby with Sheffield Wednesday at Oakwell and did so with passion and commitment towards the cause.

The Club can also confirm that U23s Assistant Coach Matt Murray has left Oakwell to pursue other career opportunities after a year in the position, working alongside Paul and helping with the development of the squad.

Everyone at Barnsley Football Club would like to thank Paul & Matt for their efforts whilst with the Club and wish them the very best of luck in the future as they embark on opportunities elsewhere.

Chief Executive Gauthier Ganaye commented: "Both Paul and Matt have been a credit to the Club during their time with us and we would all like to thank them for their efforts, they leave with our best wishes. We will now look to begin the process of appointing someone to take over from them and will communicate to fans when this is finalised."
